Working through a multicultural lens, Jessica is committed to helping individuals gain deeper self awareness while exploring the impact of societal pressures and systemic oppression on their sense of self and the challenges they face. Through a blend of cognitive behavioral techniques, mindfulness practice and psychodynamic therapy, Jessica works with individuals and couples to challenge the patterns that keep them “stuck”, increase emotion regulation and understand how the past can impact the present. She uses a person-centered, strength-based approach to reconnect individuals to their inner resources to meet their goals.
Jessica has helped adults, couples and teens through various issues, including anxiety, family conflict, post-traumatic stress disorder and significant life transitions. Jessica brings 10 years of experience in international education, identity and professional development. She provides therapy on workplace dynamics, imposter syndrome and career changes. Jessica is a bilingual therapist (English/Spanish), LGBTQ+ affirming and has a history of working with marginalized individuals. She values each person’s unique path and perspective, and will work to create a safe and collaborative environment throughout the therapeutic process.
