Navin

Navin comes to the Integrative Therapy Center with over 15 years of experience in several therapeutic, supervisory and teaching roles. Along with adult clients, he has experience working with children, teenagers, families and couples, and has a history of working with LGBTQ+ clients, veterans, marginalized and disadvantaged individuals. He works with clients to address many different issues including addiction, sexuality, finances, parenting, domestic violence, assault, anger management, trauma, psychoses, depression and anxiety. He believes change is possible in all of us and he uses a wide array of therapeutic techniques to help motivate people to find the path that’s right for them, in a safe and supportive environment. He obtained his master’s degree from NYU and is currently an adjunct lecturer at Hunter College Graduate School of Education and Counseling. He is also a college teacher affiliate member of the American Psychological Association. Navin enjoys being an LGBT parent, visiting family in the Caribbean, and partaking in different cultural activities to help broaden his awareness of various populations.
