Sara works collaboratively with individuals and couples, focusing on your experience and goals, and adapting her approach to best meet your needs. Her style is direct, warm, and supportive. Sara’s love for her work and deep belief in the human capacity to heal, expand, and (re)connect with oneself and others can be felt by her clients. She has helped clients navigate a wide range of personal and relational experiences, including life transitions, grief and loss, coming out, anxiety, depression, trauma, and systemic barriers.
Before becoming a therapist, Sara spent over a decade working with the United Nations Development Programme, supporting access to healthcare around the world, and with nonprofits serving individuals seeking refuge in a new home. Having worked and lived in multiple countries – and as an immigrant herself – Sara brings an awareness of culture, identity, and belonging to her therapeutic work. She has an affinity for working with clients from international and multicultural backgrounds and welcomes individuals of all identities. In addition to English, she speaks Arabic and French and is currently advancing her elementary Spanish.
